Yeah the chat box would be a great tool to use but i think if we had one person to turn the round results in to it would work. and we could have deadlines to make your match or be dq'ed. Just make make sure it gets completed in a reasonable time frame. Something like three days from post per round it should be over in like two to three weeks with 40
-50 participants. We could have double elimination too, if some people have a problem with being dq'ed after a no-show for their race. I don't know just a few ideas.

well im not really "taking entrants" right now, im still trying to get a blueprint for this tourney that will actually work...as you can see, my last 2 tourneys (brawl and GHIII) never kicked off because A: my brawl tourney wasnt "official"...whatever that means.

and B: GHIII entrants...only 2 active members

thats the problem we're looking at really...ACTIVE members

people who actually visit the forums at least once a day...especially if they join a tournament.

so yeah...heres what i got so far for the blueprint:

Active Members Only! If you dont exceed 40 posts here on wiispace youre not allowed to join, so dont even ask. instead of asking, keep posting...who knows, you might actually like this place, and BOOM! your in the Grand Prix!

The Number of entrants required is 12...regardless, i want a FULL room of people racing. id be happy if we had 48 dudes up in this tourney, but its probably not gonna happen. When we race, I will be recording the results of the Series. If we have more then 12 entrants, then i will assign someone i trust to record the results of the series.

Ok, this is where im kinda wanting some ideas and feedback. We are going to be doing a 4 race Series in the First Round. People who place 6th and above will move on to Tier 1 (much like rok's tourney) and people who place below 6th will move on to Tier 2. As far as track selection comes...i just say pick whatever, but this is where feedback is required, so if you think we should have a certain set of tracks we should race for each series, just let me know whatcha think of that idea...cuz yeah i dunno yet haha.

Winners of the Tourney will not only get bragging rights, but a VC game of his choosing. 2nd place and 3rd place will be rewarded too, but with what? i dont know yet...FEEDBACK YET AGAIN PLZ!

thanks guys, i really appreciate the support...and to answer your question blue, YES! ! im actually going to put this idea to work! im probably going to start a new thread though and have it stickied and this one locked eventually...but yeah, this is definently the start of the Wiispace Grand Prix.
