Wiispace Grand Prix....eventually?

So check it, i had this idea...

Since Rokrins big Brawl tourney is still underway, and who knows when thatll be over, i was thinking about starting a Wiispace Mario Kart Grand Prix.

For example, this is just off the top of my head, so feedback and suggestions are welcome.

Much like rokrins tourney, and depending on the number of entrants, there will be a qualification round for all entrants. the people who place below 4th (or 5th, depending on # entrants once again), will be in Tier 2, and the top 4 will be in Tier 1....although, this IS subject to change, because who knows how many people we'll get.

after that, we'd all race for 2 seperate Grand Prix Cups: the Tier 1 Cup and the Tier 2 Cup. Both would be a Grand Prix of 8-12 tracks, and top 4 winners of both tier's would race against each other for the Wiispace Mario Kart Grand Prix Crown.

although i already konw im terrible at this game, i do love it nonetheless and its competitive like crazy, so i think this would be a FUN tournament. however, this isnt gonna happen until the brawl tourney is over...cuz yeah, i dont want to interfere with what rokrin is busting his butt off for. but if anyone is interested in this, and has suggestions or feedback on how the tourney should be, example # of races, setup, blah blah blah, just post away right here.

i would like each round to be a best of 3 or 4 (races). We could have 1 person add everyone in there group and make a friend room. Then play 3 or 4 races(when you make a room it has you play 4 races thats why im saying maybe 4) and the poeple with the top 5 amount of points advance this way luck isnt as big of a factor and the people who are really the best advance. another idea just popped into my head ....if we make it best after 4 races then you could just pick a random cup and then the tracks would be the tracks in that cup then it would really be a "grand pix"

i think this should be done in pairs, so that experienced racers dont automatically end up winn (like myself ) and we add up the team scores, of course if we did it in teams we'd need more people to join, and not alot of "active" people have mario kart

i WOULD join ur thing, cuz yeah, it looks really organized and could actually make people look forward to something every tuesday night...unfortunately, i cant join yours because i work every tuesday night, and yeah...blah BUT howeverz, if you could change your day from tuesday to wednesday, then yeah, itd be brilliant...but you picked tuesday for a reason probably so i doubt yuoll change it.

I love the Idea of a Kart season! Why not try to figure out who really is the best? but the idea of a season thats 12 weeks long sounds a little crazy. Can anybody figure out how to set up a true tournament? we could even try to do teams of two or more if we think this through.

i could probably set up a true tournament...but the problem is most the active people on the forum dont have mario kart wii. so really, itd be a waste of time to even try to hold this tourney unless we get the chatbox back.
