Hey guys I just got mario kart wii this morning and I wanted to ask u some questions to help me be a better player.

1. At what number of the countdown should I start reving my engine to get a speed boost?
2. What is the best way to avoid a red shell?
3. Is it possible to avoid spikey blue shells?
4. what are the benifits of towing an item rather than keeping it in your inventory?
5. is there any button to hop your vehicle like in the snes versian?
6. Any tips on how to give the rain cloud to someone easily?
7. what's the best way to use a bomb-om?

1. as the 2 starts to disappear
2.hold a banana or any shell behind you by holdin in the throw button
3.yes if you have a mushroom as it starts to fall speedburst
4no.2 tells you
5. yes only in manual drift though b button
6.nope just tag as quick as possible
7.throw behind you

yeah another way for avoiding #2 is by drifting close to the side and cuting it hard at the end of the turn the red shell will try to go through the wall but instead break leaving you safe and sound.

:/ no dont waste bananas for number 2 put it in automatic drift ive never played at manual and im one of the best here instead just stay close to edges ALWAYS unless there is high chance of you falling, number 4 items that can be towed tow them dont keep them in your inventory this way youre ready for anything just in case, number 5 there really isnt a need for hopping, number 6 drift from side to side this way any one behind you will either have to get the cloud or slow down to avoid you, number 7 behind you but this is a very powerful item so dont just use it when ever i recommend shadowing someone to get a speed boost then cut in front of them and drop the bomb

-Once lakitu(cloud boys) hand is up and it shows the 2

-waste a banana or shell, go around an edge corner
3. Is it possible to avoid spikey blue shells?
-only if your blasting through the air in a cannon, or have a star

-it makes use as a shield, someone might run into it and fall back, it makes it so you can hold another item whil towing the one you already have on you
5. is there any button to hop your vehicle like in the snes version?
-if your on manual and press b(for drifting) you'll hop, usefull in sherbert island :P

-Ram into the person / slow down Look behind you (A button) and go infront of them hoping they drive into you, thats what i do, and it works perfect : D
7. what's the best way to use a bomb-omb?
-throw it behind you and hope it hits, dont worry, my strategies never fail, ask anyone whos played me
