Yeah, the chain chomp was cool.... They had way better weapons in MKDD... I can't really think of one that I didn't like upart from the BLue shell, which has been in the last 3 MK's anyways...what can yuh do...? ![]() The Fact that they made the blue shell fly in MKDD and MKW sucks! The blue shell was best in MK64 when it was on the ground and plow'd through everyone! Sure it stopped at the first player, but at least it kinda even'd it out a bit... |

1. There are definitely stat changes. If Mario Kart Wii has no differences (talking about Karts and Bikes) in Speed, Acceleration, Weight, etc. than Mario Kart Double Dash does DEFINITELY not have any stats. MK Wii definitely contains stats (especially in Weight, because many a time have I been pushed off a cliff by a heavier character), and they definitely are distinguishable and strategic. 2. There is no snaking in Mario Kart Wii (though I do snake in Double Dash lol :P), and that is thus an advantage in itself. SCREW SNAKERS (mostly in DS version) 3. I do believe an advantage of Mario Kart Wii is its extremely dynamic courses. While I do love both DD and Wii and their courses, I would have to say that on average that Wii's courses are better because they're extremely unique, interesting, and chaos-infested (Mushroom Gorge, Coconut Mall, Wario's Gold Mine), the Wii's version has twice as many courses as DD, and who doesn't love their favorite classic courses packaged together with a bunch of new, amazing courses. Besides, Mario kart Wii's courses have different types of courses than before ("Types" being Deserts, Beaches, Circuits, Ice Lakes/Tundras, Haunted Tracks, etc.). Examples of these being Toad Factory, Coconut Mall, Maple Treeway, Wario's Gold Mine, Grumble Volcano, and etc. 4. If you all are complaining about how the items drastically affect the gameplay and your ranking on the 3rd lap, then A. Stay in the back or middle for the first two laps and then reach 1st near the end, or B. Get as far far up as possible so that Blue Shells won't do much to you, and make sure to have bananas/shells for protection against Red Shells, and C. When playing multiplayer, go to options and put items to "Strategic", so that limits the amount of good items received and therefore turns more to skill than luck.

yes i have to say that double dash was better as you got personalised specials for each of the characters and you could have two ppl on one kart that was esspecially fun when u have a friend round at ur house as u could play together more co-operativley. but mk wii is also good thanks to te introduction of bikes, wheelies and online play, but other than that it really isnt much better

Here's what i hate about MKWii when i play online:
Im in first place during the entire race and then im in 8th place or worse just because of a stupid blue shell right in front of the finish line
