Mario Kart Wii not as good as Mario Kart double dash

Mario Kart Wii isn't as good as Mario Kart double dash. The item's are unbalenced, there's no stratigy in chosing characters and there's no difference in weight class. They put all the focus on controls and online. If double dash have had online (like MKWii's) MKWii wouldn't have done well at all. That's not to say I don't like MKWii. On the contary, I love it. But if they had delayed it to say, July; they could have fixed some of the problems. Disscuss:

actually theres a difference in weight class. if u have bab mario and ur friend has DK he will blow u way!!

ps: im bein knda biased cuz ive never played MKDD

How are the items unbalanced? if your behind you get better items to catch up? if your ahead all u get are defensive items? This is a solid game from top to bottom, but I didn't play dd either.

I definently agree with the items issue. Thats really the biggest reason why this game is so hard on 150cc and challenging at times at even 50cc and 100cc. I'm sorry but when I'm beating the crap outta a cpu and they catch up simply because I got hit with two blue shells and a red shell then there is a problem.

i liked both mkdd was my favorite because of the two character selction and i like mkwii because of all the new features but i see no problem with the items or gameplay

yes but you have to understand that they did that so even a novice could keep up with the best so that it would be fun for everybody novices and pros alike

true but i still wish that u could choose between doubles or single karts which makes the game challenging but annoying wit the noobs and the 12th place blue shells and no more character specials that sux. i played it at gamestop it was fun

You disagree with what? That the item system sucks there's no stratigy to choosing characters and I have seen no difference in how the weight class works. If I was a small I could out run a heavy. The karts and bikes are the same just with a different look. No difference in the stats.

O_O item system does suck but it helps you if you suck or fell behind and if youre any good then it shouldnt effect you that much. each weight class has better stats in some catagories then the other two and each character has better stats in some catagories then the other characters in its weights class, i disagree with you saying its not as good as mkdd i like mkwii more and you cant say "if" mkdd had online because it never did and never will so the fact that mkwii does have online just makes mkwii even better
