Whats better online or offline multiplayer?

Whats would you rather do? Offline or online multiplayer?
I chose online because it is alot easier. You can take the lead with your friend or the other person behind you. They will take the shells etc before you. Just another body guard. I want to see what you all think here at Wii Space.

I want to tell others that it does tick alot of us off when a "Guest" beats you, but still they don't gain anything it's just about skill + luck if they can beat you.

i really dislike it when people have guests with them on-line in mariokart cuz you know that most of the time they are working together just to get their vr score up. How can you judge someones ability that way? I do see a few guests who actually race though and sometimes they are really good and it kills me to see my score get destroyed cuz they're a "guest"

but anyway on-line is more fun to play because you always race against someone new and you see how good you really are that way.

definitly online, it actually gives u a challenge. Plus with offline u can only have up to 4 people, online is like 12 or 16

I think there both good but i would have to say that if you play online you get better because you can learn shortcuts from other people online and get a lot better but if you play offline with your freind its fun and you can get a little bit better depends how good your freind is at mario kart.Also you could play online with your freind against other people so at the same time it will be fun and you will learn a lot from all the different people online.

Good point. I also want to tell people that if a guest beats you, he may not be working with the other person, he may be trying to beat them as thats what my friends do when we go online most of the time, unless he or I is down on VR like below 5K wich doesn't normally happen to me, well it hasnt but he has went below 5K before . If a guest beats you he/she has more luck or skill and knows shortcuts etc.

You could practice offline for awhile.Also practice against time trial ghosts it really helps especially when you go online because you know about every shortcut because when you practice offline you know every shortcut in the game.so when you become good enough you will probably come in first everytime you race online.

I'm not saying a guest isn't skilled enogh to beat me just saying that I see them working together in conspicuous ways. Like how the guest completely hangs back dosn't fire off lightning until the other person has a star and won't get screwed by it and can easily win!

It's ok. I think i get misunderstood a lot here. Some people just ignore me or just re-post what I say with different words and pretend like they knew what they were talking about the whole time.

I like multiplayer better. But I'll tell you something...a guest was driving backwards on Peach Gardens purposely banging into drivers...except for one driver.....so annoying.
