I totally am stinking it up with the cycles

Guys,

I need some advice. I went through the 50CC and kicked major butt, but on the 100CC, I am getting it handed to me. I got a star on the first one, but I am barely finishing in the top three in the next couple and just forget about it after that.

Should I just get rid of the wheel and do it with the wiimote? Are there characters that seemingly have better control than others for the bikes? Mario just seem to slide everywhere for me and that mostly meant into every pit imaginable. I tried Diddy Kong last night and felt a little better on the second courses, but I still couldn't move it above an A.

I can only imagine how tough the 150's will be if I am getting killed on the 100CC tracks.

Frank

practice and experiment. I was horrible at the bikes at first too. Now its all I use. Just keep playing with different characters, bikes, and either auto or manual drift untill you find a combination you like. The wheel is fun, but i find i do better using the wiimote and nunchuck.

Good luck!

this just proves my theory that its better to do 150cc cups first and do 50cc last

you can also get better if you do a lot of time trials and also i think you should use a Gamecube controller because it for aggresive play and the steering wheel is just to play for fun i would say for you to use the gamecube controller because im going for two stars i got 50cc 2 star for all of the cups and the same with 100cc and 150cc im still going for Mirror

How does the nunchuck work with it? I would assume that it's for the throwing of objects.?

Hadn't thought about more time trials. That might help me get better control of the cycles.

Good, because I love the wheel. I just think it's the coolest of my toys for the Wii. It's even better than the tennis racket.

the nunchuck + wiimote i would say is probably the easiest control type it has because of just how easy it is to wheelie and use other things without having to move youre hand to get to another button

I love using A small character [eg dry bones or baby mario] and using bullet bike, it turns like a charm and goes fast.
