Hey dude, it seems like you've got it figured out, but I can't help but give you something else to consider. First of all, I used to use the funky/ flame runner combo, for it had great handling and speed. However, the only thing those two bikes lack is acceleration. In online play, it has been my experience that having some decent acceleration can go a long way. the combo I use now is diddy/dolphin dasher combo, and i've gotten a online rating of about 8000 from it.

You should use bowser bike/flame runner! i always use bowser bike.
