ok i know this for a fact and ive definately seen cheaters online MK, for example, u go into warios gold mine, the person infront of me has just been knocked down, and he gets back up instantly and nails me with a red shell, and the last item box was ways away. i swear he should have been in last place

I see this every night, people falling off rainbow road, then apearing in front of me, at full speed no less! Other small things too, for example; I was in 1st place about to cross the finish line when I looked back. I watched myself cross the line in reverse FIRST, with some trouble causer clearly behind me in 2nd. But, when the race ended, he got 1st place!?

There's actually a thread I think about the thing Toonboy's saying. Must people said it was just lag.

Yeah, most of the time this is just lag. And, from ToonBoy's thing with them having a Red Shell without any boxes being nearby, that could mean they held on to it.

#1, its not lag
#2, he fell off the edge and suppose to lose the item
#3, after he fell he used the shell got it?

when you lag it makes it look like the other players head striaght and do not turn so it shows them fall of ledge.
it happens all the time

I've noticed that Ferret is a pro at MK so I'm suggesting that whatever he says about MK is true.

Think about this. It's lag.

So, let's say that your kart is riding down Rainbow Road, you have a red shell, and you're in second place. Suddenly your internet drops connection, but only momentarily. Everyone else's Wii registers your kart as still moving forward, and you eventually appear to drop off of the screen.

Now, you're still playing the game. Racing, whatnot. You come towards the first place racer, and BAM! your internet reconnects. Shoot the shell, win.

Simple, really. All online games tend to lag in the same way. If you were shooting and strafing in an FPS, your internet disconnects, everyone else sees you as still shooting and strafing.

BUT, then again, I don't own MK, I'm just speculating. These "OMG H4X!!" threads are getting old.

yea sometimes it's lag but there are hackers in the game too trust me i know the difference you could tell
