Expanding Mario Kart?

I've thought about this alot & had alot of debate over the subject, but this is the first time I've ever put it up for debate online!

I think that Nintendo should expand Mario Kart into it's other franchise games & call it "Super Nintendo Derby" of something like that!

When you post state whether or not you agree & name the Character(s) & Item(s) you'd like to see regardless of your answer!

Personally I'd think Link & Samus would work best. As for items, probably Pokéballs would be the best new item!

No. Stick with Kart. Kart = good.

I don't think it's that bad of an idea, as long as they throw in all the items from the series of the characters they included.

Then again, we have to think about the franchise itself--it's been called Mario Kart for 10 years now.

Link and samus wouldn't fit in a kart they'd look really bad, if anything link could ride like a mecha-horse.

Mario Kart, keep it that way, but where is Shy Guy, Petey Parahna, Red Paratrooper, Hammer Bro, Dixie, Cranky! They left so many characters out! we need more.

already a thread about this, but dont swet it, its been dead for like 2 weeks.


anyways its an intersting thought but i dont think it would fit.

however link and samus stages would be neat.

but my vote goes to "mario kart"

Likely it wouldn't fit! So I agree but I can't help but wonder why nintendo hasn't given "Mario Kart" a similar makeover as SSBB.

Also I think link would most likely drive a horse themed roadster & Samus something that looks really futuristic or maybe an expansion of her suit.

However even if those 2 don't fit here's another....... Kirby!

Yeah it's not a bad idea. Link and samus wouldn't fit though.

A weapon suggestion is a sticky bomb like in SSBB. Say you get the box and it sticks to oyu and in 20 seconds it blows up and if you hit someone it jumps to them maybe?
