double dash
dd was my favorite the turning was so smooth and i didnt like the ds one even though it had online. it just was to boring for me. dd had 2 characters which i liked and all the karts and characters and the courses most of them were really fun and but the it would be somewhat better if the cpu's were a little harder to beat so more competitive races

Definitely "Mario Kart 64".
"Mario Kart 64" was one of my first games, so it has kind of a special value as far as I'm concerned. Plus, you can't beat the sheer fun of it: Toad's Turnpike and the Skyscraper arena were my multiplayer favourites.
"Mario Kart DS" was pretty good, though. But "Double Dash!!" and "Super Circuit" on the GBA didn't really convince me... By the way, "Mario Kart Wii" is gonna rock.
