Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
Gameplay: The improvement in gameplay alone justifies this port. Motion controls of much more accurate. Point-and-shoot scheme make the game not only easier, but more fun. Most of the shaking controls feel good. 10/10
Graphics: They're not 360 graphics but they are some of the better Wii graphics. Everything on screne moves nicely. Design of the the bosses are standout. The color pallete suits the mood of the game. 9/10
Sound: The music is on point. It actually helps you throughout the game: when the music stops the action is over...for now. The voice acting is just ok. Ashley sounds like a little girl throughout and the villagers say the same thing so much it'll be stuck in your head by the end of the game, whether that's a good thing or not. 8.5/10
Presentation: The game menus suit the game perfectly. You get a lot of features between the Gamecube and PS2 versions. 10/10
Intangibles: You get all of the features from the two past versions of the game. The main quest will take about 20 hours. There's plenty to do here. For a Resident Evil game, it does lack co-op. 9.5/10
Overall: I've already played through the Wii version twice. With so much to do and it's presented nicely, it's no wonder why this is one of the best games on Wii, even if it is a PS2 and GCN port. 9.5/10
If you've never played Resident Evil 4, it is a must own on the Wii. This is sort of the special edition of one of the best shooters of the era, all for $29.99.
