Link's Crossbow Training

Link's Crossbow training comes with the Wii Zapper which is bundled at a cool price of $25.

Gameplay: The game has good point and shoot controls like Metroid Prime 3. However, the Zapper itself is sort of a disappointment as the game is easier and more precise to play with no zapper. Most of the levels feel pretty similar with really two main types of levels: on-rail target practice or third person shooter. The latter is much more fun obviosuly and gives the game more of an adventure mode and makes the game feel less like a tech demo. 7/10

Presentation: Not much to it due to the simple nature of the game. Could've had more colorful menus to match the generally colorful pallete of the game itself. Very few options. 6/10

Sound: Effective and deep sounds that really simulate what is going on the screen nicely. Solid music as well. 8.5/10

Graphics: Similar color pallete to to Twilight Princess. The graphics look real crisp but then again you're not necearily exploring large maps either. 7/10

Intagibles: The game is very short but due to the scoring system has at least some replay value. A game like this definitley would've benefited from some sort of online play. There is multiplayer but you simply have to pass the controls around after you're turn. 5.5/10

Overall: The game suffers from some lack of polish along with options and detail, but overall most levels are fun while they last. 7/10

If you plan on using the zapper for other games besides this, then this is a good value at $25 for the bundle. Even if you abandon the zapper midway through, the game can still carry itself much more then say Wii Play could without its bundle.

THis game to me was OK, but when I bought it not many other QUALITY games supported the zapper. So for me it was a waste of money. But the game itself was fun for a little while.

didn't this game come with the zapper? w/e i found this game very addicting. after unlocking all the platinum medals for every stage i put it down. yea the replay value is crappy but i was hooked when i first started playing.
