MLB 2K8 is a pretty good baseball game. It is missing somethings but things it does well almost covers up for them. Presentation, Announcers, Pitching system, batting system, and all the teams.

Presentation is awesome in my opinion when you get into the main menu to select what you want to do, your favorite team is your background and all the cards that you win during games are on the pages to show how many you got.

Announcers is something they could work on because they say some stupid things. You hit a home run and they will show a reply later and be like this was the big hit of the game an inside the park home run. They need to get that system down better.

Pitching system is awesome best feature of this game. You get to control the pitch, something like the golf swing in the Tiger Woods games. You through changeups fastballs, sliders, and etc. Just by flicking your stick different on the way back and then on the way around. You can't just pick any throw though your pitcher has a few pitches he can pitch and you have to pick one of those.

Batting system is a good feature. It's basically the same as pitching system except you only need to pull back and release for just a contact hit that gets ball into play or push the stick forward for a power hit and hit ball out of park or hit a load of flyballs.

Has teams from double A to Major League in this game which is cool. You can bring up good players from the minors if a player gets hurt. You can see how bad your minor system is.

Overall the game is pretty decent with good gameplay basics now they need to bring up the graphics next year and add a career mode like The Show. I recommend this game to any baseball fan who needs to get their fix and doesn't own a PS3 for The Show. I give it an 7.5/10 just because of no career mode and could look a little better.

IM a big fan of baseball- football- soccer but it seens every year instead of getting better they get worst, IM pretty sure that the people that make this games dont know **** about this sports they just care about the $$$$$$$$$.

If you have a PS3 get The Show. Sony has a winner their that is the best sports game on the market by far. Makes Madden look like a little girl!
