One of the best RPG's to be released this generation of consoles. The game is absolutely brilliant. Bioware did a great job putting together this game. To start the games fighting engine is a nice third person shooter. The storyline is very exciting and makes you want to keep moving forward in the game.

One of the biggest things about Mass Effect is the ability to free roam the universe and check out all the galaxies. You can scan certain planets for rare metals or rare journal entries for extinct species. Also they put forth so much work in making the planets be believable in terms to what their A.U. (how far they are from their sun) and weather they are a gas planet or terristial planet. There are some planets you can even land on and and search them yourself for rare metals, rare journal entries, or just destroy a base of geth or some other group.

The group of characters that are your teamates range from aliens to humans. Each one has their on special ability be that fighting or electric. You can even customize their weapon on the fly make them have a pistol, assult riffle, shotgun, or sniper rifle. At the same time you can also choose what special you want to use or if you will use on on them at all.

The story of Mass Effect is you trying to stop a rogue spector(named Saren) from taking of the universe. You pretty much chase distress calls for a chance to find him. You learn all kinds of information while on this wild goose chase for Saren.

This game overall is amazing looking, plays great, and has an awesome storyline. I highly recommend this game if you're into Sci-Fi or a RPG nut.

Damn you I wanted to make a review.

But yes this game is awesome, can't wait for 2 to arrive. I gotta say, this game is amazing in all ways...too much interaction->Which is why I love it.

if you like the game you should try to pick up the prequel and book between one and two.

yah the game is awesome but the achievements are a major pain to get considering it requires beating the game multiple times but i am working hard to get them while i wait for sonic unleashed (360).

also that game will keep you entertained and into it especially if your one that tries to complete a game 100% since there are over 60 side missions.
