Army of Two

Army of Two goes outside the clutter of all the FPS coming out anymore. It's a good TPS instead. There are a lot of good things about this game, and they definitely out weight the bad.

First off the gameplay in this game is amazing. It's the perfect TPS with very few bad camera angles. The whole Aggro meter is a great feature in this game, that I hope other companies pick up on in shooters. The customization of all the guns in the game is awesome too. The developer went to great lengths to have all those different combinations in the game. Having a team mate work with you through the game is awesome also, saves you a lot of deaths.

The environments in the game look amazing. You visit all kinds of locations and they fit the bill for how the should look. Their is also weather that is accurate to the surrounding environments.

Storyline of the game isn't too different from most shooters. The only real difference is this game is all about teamwork with you A.I. partner or with a Co-Op friend. The goal of the game is pretty simple. You work for a private contractor and get paid for your missions by who ever wants you to take someone out.

The two main characters Salem and Rios are very unlike one another. Rios is a very serious person who just wants to get the job done and go home. Salem is much more laid back about the mission and throws jokes around at bad times. They get all their information on missions from Alice. She takes care of your pay and giving you information on the mission.

I recommend this game to anyone who is sick of the standard FPS that come out every month. This game is a work of art, which can be enjoyed by anyone. It's definitely a fun game to go through in single player, and adds even more fun playing with a friend.

I give Army of Two a 8.5 out of 10. Their is replay value for sure, but game could have used a little better online system.

8.5/10
