Well it only offends you because you let it... If everyone didnt freak out about it being a bad thing and everyone accepted them for bieng what they are (words) then it wouldnt be offensive if used in a non aggressive manner. A** = butt ... so why is A** face more offensive then Butt Face? You would just laugh me and and call me a 2 year old if i called you that... By prohibiting the words and not allowing them they are giving the words power!

Yea. theres ton of slang that kids in my school just make up. we cant get in trouble for a term that doesnt exist!!! but of course, we do -.- its really annoying. sometimes its not even bad, or doesnt even mean FAKE slang, but if someone says liek "fruitsalad on a ladder" teachers go red alert! really annoying

I hear what your arguments are and agree with them somewhat. I think when A teacher hears these words they do not want to get to the bottom of it and have to figure out how your using the word, instead they rather just not hear it at all. Here's an example:

Scenario A: Some bully likes to call John a Mother F every morning. (This is obviously unacceptable) John might already have low self esteem (which is probably why the bully chooses him to pick on) and this keeps him down and IMO makes school an unsafe environment for him b/c instead of growing and becomming a strong individual he has other students that are keeping him down with noone intervieing (teachers should, which is what our argument is about)

Scenario B: Some kid opens his bottom locker and reaches down to get his books, as he comes up he bangs his head of the top locker and yells, "Mother F". This can be excused and I have no problem with it.

To make things simple through both scenarios are punished so that the word is discouraged for uses in scenarios such as A. How silly would it be for every time a curse word is said for a teacher to have to determine how it was used and in what manner, instead it's always punished and that makes since to me. There's just no need for it. You can cuss all you want when you get home with your friends and whatnot but some places, especially public places should not have that kind of launguage floating around.

So? Everyone knows all kinds of offensive words but that does not give you the right to use them in a public place. We might as well allow people to call people anything they want in that case including Ni.er fa.ot... you name it because it's just a word and the constitiution gives you the right to say it. See how rediculas this sounds? Yes, you have the right to say them but you also have the right not to say them and society would be better if people had self-control and showed a little more maturity in there language.
Sex education is a TOTALLY different topic. Yes, all of the students in middle school probably know what sex is but they probably do not know ALL that sex is which is why I feel strongly that Sex education should be taught to middle school children otherwise they will get their sex ed from shows like family guy and start sticking it in girls ears LOL. Seriously through, sex can bring all kinds of nasty scenarios into ones life and the need to be educated about it is huge. IF you want my advice on sex, save it for marriage, it's just a whole lot easier on your emotions, health, and overall wellness. You'll never have to worry about STDs, someone in your past being "better at it", or unwanted babies.
