Burnout Paradise Any Good?

Has anyone here purchased Burnout Paradise? I downloaded the demo and I thought the game was awesome but I'm just wondering if the full game is awesome. Well if anyone know I'd appreciate it. Thanks

I have it, it's a great game. I love doing Marked Man missions (try to get to a checkpoint before computer cars wreck your car). You can play online with up to 8 people, which is really awesome, I love the online on it. Especially doing a bunch of "player missions" with friends

Also, I heard that an update was being released that would incorporate mortorcycles into the game, and that nighttime would also be added. Definately a game worth getting.

burnout paradise is an awesome game it will be even better when they do the upgrades they are talking about.

I think I might get the game sometime, it was probably the best racing game I've ever played not including mario kart games.

In terms of gameplay itself, it's pretty good. But I do miss the fact they have removed the "crash" element from the series and replaced it with the rather dull and dumb way they do crashing now. Previously it was like a mini-puzzle game where you needed to choose the right car, find the right path, get the right speed, and find the right car to hit/launch off of in order to obtain the best possible crash points to score bronze/silver/gold. Now? You just crash randomly and bounce all over the screen. No strategy, no challenge... ZZzzzZZZzzzZZZZ


I have about 58 more victories to go to win my Elite license right now. I won my paradise license last week and have been working on clearing every single race event first. I think I have 5 races left to clear (there is something like 40 race events!).
