Xbox Live Goes Portable On Windows Phone 7 Today
Windows Phone 7 is available from a number of U.S. carriers today (Verizon and Sprint customers are out in the cold) and with it comes the next step in Xbox Live: mobile gaming. Players can link their Xbox Live account to their new phone and sync up their Avatar, Gamertag, and Gamerscore. The Games Hub on Windows Phone 7 will allow you to see your games library, including brand-new Xbox Live titles only for the Windows Phone 7 platform.

The one-time free download will add Xbox Live features to your Windows Phone 7 Games Hub, including: - Avatars. Take your 3-D Avatar and props with you on the phone with full closet access.
- Friends. Bring your Xbox Live friends with you everywhere; see who’s online and what your friends are doing on their consoles, PCs or phones.
- Achievements. Compare achievements with anybody on your Friends List.
- Messaging. Communicate with anyone in the Xbox Live community through Xbox Live text messages.
A number of Xbox Live mobile games will be available today, like ilimilo, an addictive 3D puzzle game that’s free for all AT&T customers. Other available titles include: - Flowerz
- Fogger HD
- Flight Control
- Star Wars: Battle for Hoth
- Bejeweled LIVE
- The Harvest
- Rocket Riot
- Earthworm Jim HD
- The Sims 3
- De Blob Revolution
- Twin Blades
- Hexic Rush
- Tetris Monopoly
- Uno HD
- CarneyVale: Showtime
- Glyder
- O.M.G.
- Glow Artisan
- The Revenants
- Need for Speed
- More Brain Exercise
- Ilomilo
- Guitar Hero 5
New titles will hit the Marketplace every week, with prices ranging from $2.99 to $9.99. The Windows Phone 7 Marketplace will also be seeing its own version of Microsoft’s successful ‘Deal Of The Week’ program.
