Ogre Battle 64

My #1 game of all times would be ogre battle 64, and as of today I am still playing this game (I've played it 12 times already) It has multiple endings, and a great story, in fact even my aol screen name comes from that game. Its just an exciting game and once your caught into it you just dont feel like doing anything else. I find it sad cause its such a rare game and so few people know about it, but for sure its just an awesome game. I hope people will consider trying it out once they get their wii, and if anyone else has tried the game tell me what you also think. (Hoping for a sequal eventually on the wii but it seems highly unlikely)

Its a strat game. And I have played it and i like it. Its on my rom list already .

Hmmm lets see its a strategy rpg game with alot of characters you can get, story is sort of a revolution but im not so great at describing it. The characters you get can be gotten with other characters you have and theres an alliance system that is also required for what type of characters you can get. For example if you kill enemies that are higher level than your characters you gain alliance going into high alliance (also a class system where your units change like a knight can become a paladin with high alliance or a black knight with low alliance) and when u kill a unit thats lower level than you than you lose alliance. there are many paths in the game that you can take, and no matter what u do you cant get every char just playing the game once. its a 50+ hour game (at least for me) and there are multiple endings, so its a great game for everyone to try.

I'd play this game but I don't have time for RPGs as of late. Seems like it would be good though! Especially if it's made you play through 12 times!

Yup, Im getting ready to play it a 13th time now, and it will wind up being 20 at least by the end lol, Just such a great game, so many people have missed out on it. Im currently playing ogre battle march of the black queen which is basically its prequel consisting of Destin as the main character, and includes some of the other characters in this game. Afterwords im playing 64 version once again

i seriously hope they decide to put ogre battle 64 onto the virtual console because i could never get the rom on my comp and i figure that it would make an excellent addition to anyone`s wii.

I've played the game a few times. Kinda sad I can't play it on my n64 anymore,well I mean the game and my n64 are fine...just I think I have the wrong connector for my n64 that has the 3 cords that goes into the vcr. Anywho I want to play it again since I know what to do now since back when i did play it I was like 13-14 and was a n00b. Kept getting the dumb ending where they shunned magnus at the end.

The person asking about OB 64..It's a simulation game. Meaning you have a battalion,and in that battalion you have a certain number of squads. In each squad you got like a certain number of units...for instance Magnus starts off with 2 archers and 2 footmen with him if I remember correctly. When your unit engages battle with the enemy,you can't do anything but watch...hence the simulation part,BUT what you can do during the battles is give out different orders like"Attack the leader,attack strongest unit,attack weakest unit"so on and so on...Though what I loved about the game was its replay value. If there was ever a game that has been great and hasn't gotten a sequel it deserves...It'd be OB 64. Blah,stinky part for me was I could get all of the members of that resistance team except debonair and destin. I did everything right just I don't think I had enough chaos screens or w.e.

I would dieeeeeeeeeeeee if nintendo puts ogre battle 64 on the Wii to be purchased as one of the virtual console games
