It sure has, what I do expect though is that if they decide to have a new cast, also allow the use or apperance of some of the old characters. It would be great to be able to use certain attacks inside and outside the battle too! It doesn't matter wheteher they put the game on the DS or the Wii. As long as you are able to use the stylus(DS) or motion censor(Wii) for the game. Hopefully it is longer, it was a very addicting game and even though the game wasn't as short as others, it should be longer... I was very dissapointed on thaat.

I really also hope they include a lot more bonus features and extras than the first and second games too, like what you got with linking games and such. OMG, I just had a sooper-smart moment. They need to have like a dungeon builder, and let post them online for other people to download. OH a monster and character creator would be awesome too >_<. Man I just got a bunch of ideas... They better incorporate online very constructively T_T

I read that Camelot said that they would love to make another Golden Sun. Nintendo even asked them to make another one. They didn't really give a reason as to why they have yet to make another Golden Sun, only that they just....haven't been working on it.....

I don't really care which console it comes out on either, I just hope it does come out before 2010. Though that seems unlikely. =/

I've been thinking about it the past few days and I would really like GS3 to be a Wii title. If they did it right, it could be a perfect blend of motion control (for solving puzzles with psynergy) and classic RPG elements. Plus the summons would be very cool on a tv screen!

yes exactly, I wish they would add sidequest, a longer storyline, more attack, and even a few extra challenges after thee game is over. This game was a very good game, and for which ever system it might come out in, it's a win-win for the player. The music was also awesome, Ithink the video game had some of the best music I hear in any game.

Yes... they should a "Golden Sun's Greatest Hits", because I would totally bye the music. They should also do something promotional like adding a band's music for the new theme or something >.>
And I might recommend Atarashii Sekai *ahem* since it fits the game, or pretty much what the new game will be about.

I've also thought of something else- if Alchemy is reintroduced to the world of GS, then there would be a new mode / power or something cool like that probably

Golden Sun is amazing. I actually found a hint that a new golden sun was coming to the DS and had mwhp post it in the news area. I guess not many people look there. Although I have to say you managed to find a lot more info than I did Krow.

Golden Sun was one of the first RPGs I've ever played, and I still love it to this day. It had such a great story and interesting characters that I still play it sometimes (GS 1 and 2 that is)

As for GS3, It may be for Wii or DS. I think the story would have Alex surviving and pursuing Isaac to get the other part of the Golden Sun. He'll probably find another pair of adepts to help him as well. I also hope Wi Fi will be in this too. I'd love to fight my friends in this!

(on a side note: I want to return to Lemuria too....That was my favorite place to hang out in GS2)

I think this thread has pretty much ran its course, but if anyone else has some ideas about the a new GS game, please feel free to share. I have too many ideas about the new game, and yet I'm too lazy to post them X_x
