Just you. THe DS is probably my favourite game system out of all consoles. I think I currently have 4 or 5 games pre-ordered for it while I have only 4 games pre-ordered for the 360, 2 for the Wii, and none for the PS3.

I love my DS and wish I got more chances to play it. I play it when waiting for my gf to get out of work or on lunch breaks at work or between classes. It just never seems like enough but I have hard time playing it while at home cause my PS3 usually calls out my name.

my DS never gathers dust thanks to the fact that me and my family our other vacation home almost every weekend. My games are pokemon diamond, zelda, metroid, new super mario bros., and mario party DS. My gba games are the only 2 metroid games made for the gba, fusion and zero mission. I play my DS very frequently.

There are plenty of reasons to wipe that dust off your DS. It depends on what genres you are into, and your lifestyle.
If you spend many hours on a bus, like me, or get a lot of power surges, like above posters, the system's portable capabilities become attractive. This is sure to get the dust off it faster than a J-cloth and Windex. If you are into RPGs, the DS is one of the best systems to own. A number of quality titles exist that will fit into either the DS card, or GBA cartridge ports on your little Gameboy buddy. For more action oriented games try out Castlevania (both games are solid A's) or Children of Mana (a decent B). Platforming, DS has a few good mario titles to choose from, a fun innovative Kirby game called 'Canvas Curse', and a port of Super Mario World (SNES) for the GBA. If you are looking at shooters I can vouch for Starfox Command, and the critics will vouch for Contra 4 and Metroid Prime: Hunters. So whatever you tastes, I'm sure you can find some time for the DS. If you are at home most of the time, and never find your self on the road, maybe the problem isn't the selection of DS games, but your lack of need for a portable system. |
