i loved blue and red.. they were great, but the only thing was that pysicic..(i cant spell and to lazy to look up) was way over powered in those versions you could pretty much just have a whole team of them and roll over anything in your path, i really dont know a very good counter to it in just the red and blue verions though in the later ones you had dark to couter it better.

I like Fire Red/Leaf Green the most. They're like the first Red/Blue games I've ever played only with prettier pictures. I never did get around to finishing the second half of the game though... All those new pokemon annoy me for some reason...

I never had a pokemon game to call my own but i did borrow my friend's silver version for a looooooooong while. (at least a good year)

Ive played a lot of pokemon games! Red was the first I played, and I loved it...although I have to say Gold and Silver versions were the best! I have gold version and my friend had silver, This game had 16 badges to collect (8 from the Jhoto region and 8 from the origonal Kanto region), 250 different pokemon to collect, It was also the first and only pokemon game to introduce the Daytime to Night time aspect to the game! I loved that feature and how you can only catch certain pokemon during certain times of the day! Plus the enviroments also contained more pokemon, like instead of only tall grass and water containing pokemon, the tress and rocks would too! Great game, HAHA

I'm with you on that one. Infinate items! So many master balls, catch any pokemon instantly! Haha, and the rare candys. Make all your pokemon level 99 instantly. Cheating is fun. I think I liked Gold the best tho. The game case is all shiney and sparkles. The game had cool pokemon too.

But blue and red were awesome just because of the glitches = people ontop of houses, level 0 Missingno and level 100+ snorlax...
Don't forget glitch city...!
