even though my favorite type is water, i prefer poison and ground types as well. makes for a nice grinding strategy.

i prefer to use only pokemon with special attacks, unless they have a HM in there move slot..... right now i restarted the game cause i messed up on the first session..... so i am currently going to olivine city (hence i am still too early in the game to put up a good fight...lol

Then what would you do if I used a Blissey? I could just tank through all of your attacks and whittle away at your team with Seismic Toss.

man. thats a really bad strategy :-/ anybody who has high special defense or high hp would pose some big problems for you...

so i just played in a competitive pokemon match...and i got dusted.

so, we should start a little training discussion. how do you go about training your pokemon? what do you train for, how do you balance your team?

Just bought my copy of White on Amazon, so I figured I'd talk my preconceived strategy.

Lead with ground type that knows stealth rock (which can hopefully double as a physical wall or Self Destruct user, i.e. Graveler) and follow up with my special attack sweeper. From there just play and hope to make good predictions. My team format might vary a little, but I'll always keep a water type hand (I've never seen a water starter I didn't like).
