Halo DS rises from ashes, videos unearthed

And the mighty wheel just keeps on turning. Matt Cassamassina of IGN, in his age old quest to prove to the world that a DS version of Halo was once in the cards, has posted video of the game in action. Remember now, Bungie has directly denied that a Bungie sanctioned Halo DS ever existed. Cassamassina insists that the version shown in the video was not made by a "garage developer" and that it had a major publisher behind it at one point. He elaborates that the project was canceled for reasons he cannot discuss. Of course, Bungie themselves admitted that prototypes were likely made by outside companies in order to pitch the idea, and it's still possible that we're seeing such a thing here. Our only question is why now? Why are these videos just now surfacing? If the proof has been available for this long, we wonder what caused the delay. all i need to say is OMFG that is zanzibar on a ds id love this game

Those Screens look really cool, I just brought my brother in and he went crazy.

But Im In the mood for list so here are a few things that could make this game great.

* Full Online Support (No Freind codes for random Matches)
* At Least Average Story, (Around 6.5 hours)
* Those Graphics Seem good enough
* Full Voice Chat support

Now this is a good find, it looks so cool

they should make it like a long story version. this would be soo cool to challenge people while camping

That looks great and all, but he gave no proof that he didn't create it himself. He just proved that someone had made a DS Halo level. There is really no game here.

If you ask me he seemed kind of desperate to prove something. And excellent point, btw, why now? Who would care about it even when Bungie said thay wont do it.

... hmm. It's interesting to say the least, but sometimes seeing isn't always believing.

I'm sure by tomorrow there will hundreds of people claiming to have made the game ... like me!!!

WTF did you watch it he said it isnt a home made game. btw bungie confirmed there was a version in the making but they cancelled it for a reason they cant say. show me a hombrew that can look that good on ds?
