Well they aren't even releasing it. It probably wont be for at least a year, maybe more. They just have the design ready in case the current DS lite sales fall a lot.

No GBA slot could mean they plan on releasing GBA games to the VC. That would be cool because I personally do not prefer the handelds, I like the big screens and I'm not gonna buy another DS just because they made the screens a little bigger.

I agree that nintendo does not need another DS. But that doesn't mean I don't wanna see it when it comes out. I at least wanna see it so that I can see what nintendo may be planning for the future of the Wii.
