Pokemon Diamond help.

Hey guys. Can someone help me with Pokemon Diamond? I am totally stuck. I just got the Mine badge, and went to the library and heard the giant explosion. Now everyone keeps telling me to go to Lake Valor. When I go there nothing has changed?!? I cant figure out where I need to go or what I need to do? Can someone help? Please?

mmm sure its the right lake? there is 3.

and find where you where and follow that

The guides all say, go to lake valor, and there will be magikarp flapping around everywhere.

I go to where I think lake valor is and I see nothing....

When I go there it says valor lakefront, there is a hotel and lots of buildings... am I in the wrong place?

you are at the lakefront, the entrance to the actual lake is on the top right section of the lakefront, but at least you were close to the lake.

yes so head north then turn left (its a tiny enterence)

Ok that is fairly helpful but I am still fairly confused. The first post says top right, the second post says go north then turn left.

THe only place out of that area I can find is out to the right, and there is a guy standing there saying there is a problem at the next town and he wont let me through.

Can someone please give me a clue where to find the lakefront? Im an idiot. Thanks!!!

ok where the Hotel is....you cant go right cos theres a guy who stops you...go directly north (R214) and before you get to the grass stop and run left. there where two guys standing there but now theres no one, go through.

This is what happens when I play a game for a few weeks... then put it down for a month or two, then pick it back up again.
