Phantom Hourglass glitch?????!?!?!?!?!?

Ok, I was watching this video on Youtube, and I'm not sure if the ending is real or not. Watch it and tell me if any of you had this problem.

I dont think that it is acutally a glitch in the game because why would it do that. I was thinking maybe he has to talk to the Anuiki in the house tehn he can get out, because is there really any programming differences in the ds 'fat' adn the ds lite.
