yeah, i had a problem with my first wii remote. every time the screen changed (not animation) it would shut down. i would have to reconnect it to the wii OVER AND OVER AGAIN

solution: call nintendo.
they said:get another remote to make sure its not a defected WII; just the remote
results:it was just the remote. nintendo sent me another one.
