Help!!!

I just bought a Wi-fi Usb connector for my wii and i tryed setting it up but i kept on getting the error code 52041. I have Onlink dsl, windows xp, a wired router, a high speed usb 2 port but its still not working. When i downloaded the drivers that came with it, i enabled the wifi connection to my wii and it said that my wii was connected but when i tryed the test it came up with the error message. I called nintendo but they weren't really much help, they told me to uninstall Zone Alarm which is my firewall. I have tried to connect with the firewall turned off but it did not work. Does anyone have any suggestions or should i just return the usb connector and get a wireless router since there only like $39? Thanks

Nintendo told me that trying to use their Wi-Fi Connector with my laptop won't work, simply because I get the internet from a wireless card. Does anyone know if this really will work? I'd like to get the USB Connector for my Wii and DS

What does a wi fi connection for my Wii do for me?

I just recently got my Wii and need to know what the wi fi connection will let me do and do I need it and any other information that may be helpful. Also where do I get my Wii number? Really new to this stuff if you can not tell already. Thanks
