Wi-Fi USB Connector General
I bought a nintendo wifi usb connector and every time i try to connect it to my wii or ds it always fails the test and i've change the i.p to the correct i.p
can any1 tell me how to fix it or if ntl is compatible with it the error code i have is 52040 - 52042 Last edited by Evan; 06-07-2007 at 06:00 PM. |

The wifi program that comes with the connector needs to accept each user to use the wifi. When the name of each machine comes up on your computer screen all you have to do is click on the name and hit accept. Hope that helps

Did you grant each system permission to connect because you have to do that and if you did run it through a connection test in the internet settings in the Wii.

Nintendo Wifi USB Adapter
Ive installed it previously and it worked fine, up until last friday. Now when i plug in the adapter windows pops up with "Unknown Device attached" but it was working perfectly fine the other day...!
Anyone else have this problem and/or know how to solve it?  |

Error Code 52140
I keep getting this error on my Wii. Sometimes my Wii connects(mostly not) and when it doesn't I get error code 52140. After awhile I though it was my PC so I took the Nintendo WiFi USB Connector compatibility test and it was succesful. I've already read the info on the support page. So I unistalled Norton Internet Security and still I get error code 52140. I then disabled my Windows Firewall and that didn't work. It actually connects to the internet sometimes but 90% of the time I'm getting error code 52140. Has anyone else had a similar problem or know a solution?

Ok, guys, I just wanted to let you know that I decided to sticky this thread because there have been quite a few threads asking questions about the Wi-Fi USB adapter, so if anybody has a question about it, post in this thread. Thanks!

when my old 1 stopped working, i just went and bought a new one i haven't had any problems since
