you might want to give this a try, and i'm assuming you have windows XP btw,
Right click on my computer and hit properties, this will bring you to System Properties. Hit the tab that says hardware, then hit the Device Manager button *it should be the first one*. Now, you should do this when you have the USB adaptor plugged into your computer. You'll notice that tabs in the Device manage should be open *if not just go to the USB one its located under* If something isn't working right, it'll come up with a Yellow "?" or "!" *i haven't had a problem like this in a while but i'm more sure its a ? mark* From there if you click on it/right click on it, you should be able to say uninstall device, something along those lines. Then i recommend you try putting the CD in your computer again, and when it tells you to, plug in the USB adaptor. |

ya imma be reinstalling xp i had to find my cd which took all this time... so ill see how it goes then, thx for the help ill post back after i get done formating this thing
