WiFi Help

Hey, I had a question on connecting my Wii to the internet that I hoped someone here could awnser. Where I live has a wrieless network, but for reasons beyond my control it is heavily securitied, and as such the Wii cannot get on the network. I have talked to the tech guys, and they tried to figure a way to connect it without taking down the security, but they couldn't. I looked online for any adaptors, but could only find two, neither of which looked like it would work. One was the USB adaptor, but all the reviews have said that it has crappy speed. Another hooked the Wii with wires to the wired router. Since I have wireless, and the wireless router is in a different room than the Wii, I don't know if that would work either. Any advice?
