wii internet...


Well i got a wii today, ment to be for xmas but i had a ''tester'' go onnit lol.
well, i know how to connect it to the internet but i want to be able to message people onnit, ive heard you can right?
I love it cant wait till xmas so i can play onnit all day
But how do you get to know your number/ID so people can add you?
when you add someone do they like have to accept you or have you both got to add each other?

BTW... Welcome to the forum!

as you start your wii up press A at the warning screen and click the mail icon (lower right)
then click the pen & paper icon (create message)
now you can choose to Write a memo, Send a letter, or view the adress book.
click the right hand icon (looks like a book with smiley faces on it, this is the adress book)
you should now see your wii code that you have to give to your friends in order to communicate to them (you also have to add thier wii codes in return)

to add a friend, still at this stage click REGISTER
you can then choose a computer Email adress (right) or a Wii code (left)
