"Metroid The other M" Discussion

Story, difficulty, and gameplay details regarding Team Ninja’s Metroid: Other M have been released. Check them out below:

- Not Metroid Dread
- Reggie says “it’s going to be fabulous”
- Reggie hasn’t played has seen it
- Metroid Fusion dev working on the game
- Confirmed that Production Team 1 (Nintendo) involved (real deal guys)
- Adam Malkovich in the game
- Takes place in between Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion
- Reconfirmed that the game explains a bit of Samus’ backstory
- Will explain what happened to Adam
- Playing Metroid Fusion will help players understand how the story in Other M will be like
- It’s linear (knowing that there is progression), but can explore side areas
- Will have the Metroid “feel”
- Character shown in trailer is one of Adam’s soldiers
- Other M means many things - Story will reveal these meanings
- Won’t be brutally difficult like in the Ninja Gaiden games - Developers taking into account that Metroid fans, new players
- Game will have action-oriented, faster-paced sequences
- Will also have exploratory portions
- It’s an entirely new game
- Yosuke Hayashi has worked on Ninja Gaiden for the DS
- Trailer shows Mother Brain attacking a Metroid
- Woman at the end of the trailer not Samus
- Game will “take you deeper into Samus’ story”

yeah, 2010 kinda sucks :/ but this game looks awesome. Remember koopa in hte e3 discussion thread when i said who reconized the "any objections lady?" well it was from metroid fusion. In that game samus recalls Adam saying this. This was the main reason that i knew it was a metroid game before it ever even said it on the screen

I'm hoping they don't make it too easy. As hard (or harder!) than Corruption would be nice.

Samus looks incredibly agile in this entry and I love the moves she pulls off on the enemies.

Yeah those crazy melee moves were awesome. Well I hadn't seen the trailer yet, but now I know where The Other M name comes from. SAMUS' EVIL CLONE?!?!?!? Only time will tell....a year to be exact.

it sounds great, but "the other m" just makes me think of the other mother. metroid/coraline crossover? i'm seeing it!

your the first person ive ever heard hope they dont make metroid easy. they are all hard i think. sometimes to hard but thats just me.
