Well, the news is good I guess. Kinda bummed about toad and bros being only characters, but whatever. Still cant wait for NSMB, still havent even played SMG yet

a new interview with myiamoto about SMG2

After Super Mario Galaxy 2 was revealed at E3, fans were left wondering about a particular moment in the trailer. In the video, Mario hits a switch and then the screen turns black and white. So what was that all about? Nintendo Power asked Shigeru Miyamoto about this in the magazine’s most recent issue.

“We haven’t revealed that yet but maybe I can talk about it…It’s an effect where time slows down. There’s a slowdown in time within the game - probably pretty much what you had expected.”

So it seems as though the developers will be mixing up gameplay mechanics in a few ways. We now know about slowing time down, the level where duplicate Mario figures copy you, and of course, Yoshi.

its cool we all make that mistake. although i would like a new brawl, but lets get back on topic.

i wonder if mario galaxy 2 will offer the same type of co op as the first one or if it will be different?

We could hope for real co-op like other games but with nintendo I dunno they'll probably do what they did in this first one

i think this will be more like mario galaxy 1 + new levels and yoshi . which is cool for me since its the first time we get 2 3d marios on one console and also because MG1 was so great!


maybe harder levels this time around?
