I got Okami today.

Bought Okami today new for only 24 bucks. I've heard nothing but good things and the guy at Gamestop said nice choice when I went to pay for it. Anybody here, as I'm sure there is, that has played Okami. I've heard its similar to playing Zelda. Was it just me or did anyone else have a problem early on with getting the brush strokes right?

IGN and Gamespot both gave the game a 9 out of 10 which is high praise as they rarely hand out anything above an 8 unless a game is just awesome. I'm an hour in so far and its like what I heard...Zeldaesque. The visuals are great.

It looks like a really cool game, but I don't have a wii top lay it on. My friend said that he'd let me play it though. :3

Okami is easily one of my favorite games in a long time. I really don't think it plays anything like Twilight Princess aside from the fact that you're using a wolf.

It took me awhile to perfect the brush controls, too, so don't worry about it; it'll eventually come naturally.
