you can play any wii or gamecube game without an internet connection.

but u do need to have an intenet connection to play online multiplayer.

Haha, yeah I found that to be hilarious also. Anyways, I have a question. I was looking around on the Nintendo website, in the Wii section, and I happened to look inside of the Software part. I clicked the link for Wario Ware: Smooth Moves and saw that it has a 1 player mode, and that some games can take from up to 2-5 people. I thought to myself, holy ****! 5 people! What in holy hell is going on here!? It might just be an error, but I was wondering if anyone could calrify if it has any mini games for up to 5 people, or if this is just a missprint.

anyway Ucandoit69 with my understanding of the game, one user is playing at a time (does something with the wiimote) so perhaps the 5th player shares a wiimote? or all players share the one wiimote? thats my guess.

as much as i respect you in this forum, please read the entire thread. that comment was meant for the person who responded after me that said you needed internet to play "online multiplayers". the original question was "do you need the internet to play games on your wii." i gave the correct answer, which was no. i wasn't poking fun at the original question, but at the (second) response, which in fact didn't even answer the question asked.

i agree with you here that only one player has it at a time, but i was thinking also that the other players might have a role in trying to "interfere" with the main player. much like a 1 vs 3 mini-game in mario party, except i guess in this case it would be 1 vs 4. again, this is just a guess. i can't imagine a wario ware game having more than 1 person be the "main" player at a time...at least not if the smooth moves follows suite of the previous wario ware games (with it's fast-paced action).
