$40 if your talking about the thing you plug into your broadband connected PC which in turn will send a signal for your Wii to use. I'm getting one for my sister's Wii so she can stay connected next year when she goes to college for Christmas along with 2000 points.

I got one question, which is prolly dumb, but is there any way to open up the Wii, play it for, i dunno, an hour, then put it away just as it came, i just wanna play it before I give it to my g.f to wrap, its too tempting being so close to me =P

i would say no if you want it to look brand new coming out of the box the second time you would really have to pay attention to where every thing was packed and wraped but go for it if you want to just tell her hey i must of got a used one then you can say wow this person was a wiispace member too all the people are already in the address book

Hey, I played mine for an hour and put it back. Make sure you remember what plastic coverings went on what items. As far as where each item goes in each box there actually is a diagram that will help you on each half-box. DO IT DO IT, you know you want to. :-)

Do you know if it is possible to use the PAL version of the Wii in America (using PAL games obviously), so if I took my PAL Wii over to my folks in the US I could play it there? Do the American TVs usually support PAL in the same way as here in the UK the TVs support NTSC broadcasts ?

Would you need a converter for a) the power lead and b) the connection to the TV ?

i have no idea, however my sisters wat....7 year old tv (12 inches big) has NTSC playback (iam in a PAL region) so if that thing can play NTSC stuff iam sure american tvs can play PAL but dont hold my word on it.

What is a good set of speakers to get for Dolby Pro Logic II? What kind of wattage should I look for? Thanks to anyone who has alot of knowledge about sound sytems. I will be connecting this to my phillips 32 inch in a 10ft. X 10ft. room. I would appreciate a top of the line example, a best for the money example, and a cheapest that sounds decent example :-)

Yes, you can easily open it, use it, and put it back in without making it look used. I actually was in the same situation as you, and unpacked/packed the Wii three times with no problem (three times... I know, I just couldn't say goodbye )

The only thing that could be a problem, is the initial setup that you must do the first time you turn the Wii on. I don't know if you can reset it, so the lack of setup might make it obvious that its been used.

Also, fingerprints on the Wiimote and Console itself can give away your actions.

My final words of advice.. play it. Even if it's only 10 days till Christmas, it's totally worth it.

Question: Can i save status for gamecube games in the builtin wii memory or sd card?

Can i use the wii classic controller for gamecube games?
