I second that. you need a gamecube controller or a ps2 controller with a gamecube adapter attachted to it. but the classic controller won't work, its only for VC (virtual console) games and other games for the wii that haven't been released yet.

ok i'm about to get a wii hopefully in the next week! i would like to kno if you can save games and stuff on a usp memory stick? and can you save games on your comp since its wireless wouldn't you be able to access a computer shared folder? and if you can would you be able to play movies on your computer and have it come up on your tv screen that would be great!

another thing can any one post the power speifications for the american wii like the volts and hz casue i live in the uk right now and i can buy it on the us base (havent seen one on there yet always sold out!) so i wannt see if i just have to buy a transformer and thats it

i only read about half of your post, but there are two usb adapters in the back of the wii, but i dont that you can save stuff onto a mem stick.

the wii has enough memory as it is. if u want a memory upgrade, u can just buy a SD card. but the wii wont read cards bigger than 2GB.

neab, you might run into a region locked pal version of the wii, or a region locked ntsc version of the wii. Its not just about transformers, its about not being able to play the games available nearest to you.

The usb port in the back and the whole accesing your computer files through the wii is not easily capable yet. There are people working on ways and there is even a wii linux project going on but without these modifications you can't do what you want.

thx for the info buy my mates have got ps2, xbox and xbox 360 which were bought off base so i'm sure its no problem they also sell lots of games there which are so cheap so i have to buy the us version if i want to play games lol

oh ok, well you should be able to get a transformer for the wii like your friends do for the xbox and the ps2. ask them if they have to use different transformers for each system.
