Also depends on what region you are in.
that mario soccer game is online and i think that comes out before pokemon here in Aus

have you tried resycning them? have you tried new batteries?

have you tried reseting the console manualy?

if yes to all i say contact nintendo.

Hi! I am new to the Wii Forums, but have owned mine since late December. I have just run into a problem my Virtual Console games (Super Mario Brothers & Donkey Kong). The problem is this in order:
- I start my Wii (works fine & boots fine)
- Go to Super Mario Brothers or DK
- Begins to load the game fine
- Once the game is loaded, it does not go to the beginning screen, but to the "Home" screen as if someone was pressing the "Home" button on the Wii Remote.
- Click the Home button, and comes to a blank screen

For some reason it is doing this with only V.C. games, but other DVD games work fine. These are the recent additions/changes:
-Newest Update
-Gamestop Wii Charge Station
-Big Screen tv (changed the video settings)

I have tried changing the video settings and changin different controllers, restarting the station.... My question to all of you Wii Guru's out there... Has anyone else experienced this? If so, could someone please help... I miss playing my Mario and DK. Any help, suggestions, or anything would be much appreciated!!! THANKS GUYS!

I think its the video settings change....try deleteing the roms changeing the settings to what you want
then redownload the roms (for free of cors).

somehow can wii play dvd other than wii game?? if i save any movie or video clip etc in flash card can it be play in wii? sorry my english is quite bad...
