Well you need the regular controller. You can get the nunchucks later. Some games though require you to have the controller and the nunchuck for multiplayer. In this case you should get at least one nunchuck. Bowling, Golf, Baseball and Tennis in WiiSports just need controller for multi.

QUESTION:
I added my friends Wii # (first time I tried) and he added me. Right off the bat he was able to see my 2 mii's I had set to mingle under the parade and we were able to message each other. He had all his mii's set to mingle but I was only able to see 1 for some reason. Now I just set a few more of mine to mingle (previously created) and he cant see them at all....

Can you repost that with grammar so I can read it? It kind of all runs together without periods and I can't make sense of it. I think the problem though is that you are saying that while sometimes you get good lag-free games, other times you will get very laggy and disconnect. This, I think, has some to do with the distance that you are playing with them from. Aside from this, it may be caused by an endless list of other things. Perhaps if you are using the With Friends feature it is your friend who's internet is bad. Perhaps something in your home is interfering with your wifi (some wireless phones interrupt wireless internet signals, check to make sure your phone is not in the 3.4 range). Aside from that, this is not an official nitnendo forum, just a forum made by Tyler dedicated to nintendo. As a result, we don't actually have nintendo's maintainence staff to help us. If you can't figure out what else it could be, you may want to contact nintendo.

let me rephrase my question why is it that when I'm or anyone else is playing a game online (in my case DBZ and SSMB brawl) it seeks out someone but then after a few minutes or seconds it disconnecs. It's just so frustrating when I want to play online it just disconnects any ideas now

The one's sold at Gamestop are 1 gig for $19.99 and the 2 GB are $24.99, but you can get a regular SD card for less money at other stores and they work just as good.
