Angry Wii Cog Broken, To Accept and Eject Discs!

Hi there,

My Wii's been like this for about a month now and I need to get it sorted!

The problem is when I try to put a disc in it will take it but all I get is a weird noise and it doesn’t read the disc at all

I took the Wii apart and I see now what the problem is, it's the cog on the side of the drive that makes the Wii accept and eject discs, it's only one of the cogs its got some 'teeth' missing on it.

I have the WiiKey installed in the Wii so I cannot take it to Nintendo!

I was just wondering if I could find or see if any of you know where and if I can get these little tiny cogs for my Wii!

It would be very appreciated. It will cost a bomb otherwise lol

Thanks people!

Adam

Well, if you had any type of warranty on your Wii you just voided it by taking the Wii apart. My first recommendation would have been to simply just send it in to get repaired. Leave it to Nintendo, don't ever try repairing it yourself.

Well it's just the miniature cog that operates on the drive that allows the Wii to accept and eject discs.

I know what i'm doing lol!

Just need someone or somewhere who has a cog!

Thanksss anyway pal!
