i think i got a fake game?

i just a bought a game from ebay called the legend of zelda minish cap but the games sticker is not red is a kind of white and yellowish in the bottom and the words are kind of blurry where th nintendo logo is

It could have just been set in light for too long..... colors change when in light for long periods of time. Minish Cap is a real GBA game though, and was quite fun

maybe but the letter dont look fainted is there anyway to know if the game is fake when i go to my house and play it on my ds

Yea... it'll most likely load a completely different game, or not load at all. And sometimes the letters don't fade, because most letters are white, so they can't fade

Look at the words gameboy advance, If they look like they are imprinted into the cartridge really deep than It is probably a fake. Also the sticker is a little thicker than standard game. Still the same game just not actually a nintendo made one. Bootlegs were a problem on ebay.

yea you gotta look out for people selling home made carts.

Its pretty hard to spot em if them if the maker is half decent but key things to look out for. Since the image on the sticker dosnt look to good then thats a sign that its a fake. Is the sticker on straight and is it on there perfectly? Also do you have any problems saving your progress in game. Save file problems seem to be a huge problem with fakes.

Yeah, you can get ripped off easily on eboy, although check the price, see what it is, look for little details, that you think is wierd, and also compare with other games you have!

It may be a home made game, but some people just copy the real game to sell and make more money, that doesn't really mean that it's a BAD game. As long as it works just fine and you have no problems, it isn't really a "fake" game, just a copy of the real one.
