Vapor ware is a game or system that has neither been canceled, but at the same time has had no update on the game for a long time, thus it's vapor ware, so it may still be here, but.....

what a shame, but maybe they were half way through and realised that the game just wasn't going to be good enough, so decided to halt development until they think of ways to improve before continuing, you know how crazy nintendo are about their reputation... but obviously there has been more important things in the last 2 years then DOC, like getting wii fit out, stock problems, wii music, mario, smash, kart, wii motionplus etc etc... maybe they will get around to it eventually, but it doesn't look like it'll come any day soon, so no point thinking about it, as it'll probably never come! they might even save it for their next console!

Last I heard in April was "Disaster: Day of Crisis" was to be released in Japan on 7/3/08. Anyone know if that happened?

From what I have heard it is not cancaled. It has, as you can clearly see, been delayed. The team that is making it was talking about having a release date some time this year. We will more then likely hear a little something about it at the Tokyo Game Show. However I think it would be much more likely next year. WHo know we could see it in time for X-mess

I hope it does come out, the game looks really good, the clips and screenshots I have seen of it anyways

if i had to geuss why it was canceled i would say most likely tech errors. it did look good though i agree. but i dont think its been cancled i think its just really, i mean REALLY behind schedule

It was not cancled, it was just talked about in the lastest Nintendo Power. Its on there list of up coming games. of course no date yet, still TBA. Its just like Agravain3 keeps saying, its just delayed, really delayed
