I like my wii and I am a bit angry but I think I will continue to support until I really get killed.
And I have my PS3 so if the titles that are coming out are as good as they sound I might be changing console ships...just not forums.

im wishin i saved up a little extra money when i bought my wii so i coulda got an XBOX, on the other hand, if i didnt get the wii, i may not have come to this forum : O

i'll still support nintendo, but only for their first party games and the ds. i won't buy anyother game for the wii unless it's only on the wii. i've grown up with nintendo but this slump their in right now isn't good. in ways i think it would be cool if nintendo does what sega did but part of me donesn't want that to happen cause i'm a nintendo fanboy. and i don't think they are going to change what they are doing with the wii right now.

I think nintendo's weakness is it's 3rd party in general...
I mean, games like "ninjabread man" Really arent what people are looking for, everytime i go to walmart i see these games like "billy the wizard" in the clearance bin for like $9 and theres almost 200 copies of the damn thing each time i go by..

If the third parties actually dedicated more time into creating all these games we'd have a larger library of games to welcome into our homes Xd, look at all sega's games, alot of you wont agree when i say all sonic games are great, we all have our preferences, i for one LOVE the sonic franchise, i own every sonic game ever made... look how bungie became succesful with halo, all these developers really need to do is put some time into what there creating...
HOPEFULLY, The conduit is worth the hype it's recieving, this game is where nintendo is gonna hit it big for 2008-2009(I think that's right, it's apparant that im not the brightest when it comes to reading dates,post requirement,etc.. :P), i hope.

Finally, as a finishing statement, had sega not been around we may not have had the same 3D genre of games we have today, i could be wrong, i could be right, it's a 50-50 statement.

yeah they did great with the ds. they put out allot of platformer's wich is good for me cuz i love, absolutely love platformers. and they had a large game liabrat with allot of fun games, and thats really what i like in games, pure fun.

I dont know how much blame we can put on nintendo....I really think more blame should be pushed to the 3rd party developers...we still dont have any real solid wii 3rd party game....

I think nintendo should eze off the casual market abit and help out the 3rd party developers with things like cheaper development kits and help with there game engines and what not...(did you see cod5? metriod prime 3 kicks its but in graphics and it has been out for ages....).

I've lost most hope with Nintendo. I often look at my wii and cry at night. lol no not to that extent, but the wii has so few hardcore games, and too many cooking games, cleaning games, lawnmowing games, fishing games, see-saw games, digging games, recycling games, probation games, coin flip games, learn latin with a clown games....and yada yada yada. i want to see more exciting games. i mite play my wii a bit more with conduit and madworld. they look sick. but for the most part im wishing i bought a 360. its got better games, better online, and a better attitude (IMO). so yea, next gen (in like 3 years i think), if i buy a console im prob gonna go with the microsoft choice. when i bought my wii, i thought "cool! theres gonna be a lot of fps and the next super smash!" ive seen super smash and like 2 fps, neither particularly good.

I think we can shove most of the blame on Nintendo. After all, their whole motto is "Wii would like to play."

Elaboration: 3rd party game devs saw how successful Wii Sports was and are now attempting to recreate that success with crappy games. Nintendo is supposed to give the 3rd parties incentive to produce good games on their consoles (I.E. good graphics, processing power, development tools, wide fanbase), and so far they haven't done a very good job of motivating good 3rd parties to produce for the Wii.

Admittedly, we do have TONS of 3rd party games, just not good ones.

I don't blame them for not making halfway decent games for the Wii. Nobody would buy it, the hardcore guys have 360s and PS3s. It's probably a financial gain for them (otherwise they would try something different). That's also why Nintendo hasn't changed... They're still making money.

yeah well the reason wiisports was so sucsesful was cuz it was free. and for a while it was the only wii game some ppl could get ahold of. i was lucky enuf to get zelda, but not every was able to.

although wiisports resourt is a casula game i am gunna buy it just cuz, well wiisports was fun for a while.
