im just currious, i know allot of people are angry at nintendo. mainly cuz they have rejected the core gamers as a whole. but also cuz of the fact that nintendo makes there colsnoles and half there games so ahrd to find.

so will you continue to support.

me personly, im really torn. i mean i grew up with nintendo, but they have let me down in a sence this gen. and as i mature and grow older i look at the xbox and envy their games.

i mena i love mario, zelda, animal crossing,F-Zero, donkey kong, kirby, yoshi, fox, SSB, and stuff. but as microsoft gets more franchises like; final fantasy, resident evil, banjo, and ect its making me want a xbox more.

like wiispace said in his podcast "the hardcore games are few and far between"

one of my freinds brought up a valid point, he said it would be better if nintendo went like sega and just produced games. im not sure if i think nintneod should make this drastic of a step. but lets be honest xbox has so many more games that i would like to play.

Yes that's exactly what I think. Nintendo has overdone this casual gamer thing with the Wii and DS, mainly Wii. The concept really isn't that fun. I'll wait until nintendo releases a console like the 360 or PS3 with a normal controller and if they don't release one then I might have to leave nintendo's side to go along with the 360.

Edit* I almost forgot to answer the question, I'll support Nintendo right now but not 100% until I see them create more mature games. Nintendo has to realize that hardcore gamers (yes two words put together that I hate very much) are the ones who keep buying the games while casual gamers don't buy games as often. I would like Nintendo's sales to have a drastic fall just so they will start heading in the right direction.

I think they have a good line up of wii games coming out for the core gamer. If you look at the line up of games coming out you will see that there are a ton. Most of them were just not talked about at e3, that however does not mean that they are not coming out.

There are great games on other consoles that could be worth playing. However you have to look at the facts, a lot of games that never came out on nintendo systems are starting to make the jump. In fact a lot of games that nintendo fans missed out on made there way over (God Father, Bully, and a hand full of others). The GameCube pushed away third party support but the wii is starting to get it back. it is just going to take time.

As far as nintendo just making games, that will not happen. even if you are not happy with the line up of games, a lot of people are. the wii is out selling everyone else, why would they stop making consoles when they are making top selling systems. Lets face it, weather you like to admit it, the wii put nintendo back on the map. they have always know what to do to get back in the spot light and they did it aging, Everywhere you go, people are talking about the wii, weather they like it or hate it, they are still talking about it. Even bad press is better then no press

Also games for the hard core gamer do not have to be M rated. A lot of people think that if its not M rated then its casual. people have to be able to open there eyes and take a look at the big picture. On that same note if you compare how many M rated games are out on the wii right now compared to how many M rated games where on the GameCube, its a pretty big jump.

I only bring this up because Sparty said that he wont support 100% until he sees more M rated games, well look around, they are out there. There has been a big increase in them, Nintendo has to start somewhere right, and it seems like they did a pretty good job so far.

If I had bought a 360 instead of a wii, I'd be dieing right now wanting to play zelda tp, mario galaxy, metroid prime 3, ssbb, and all the upcoming games. If you want games on another console then get both consoles, nobody should rely on a single one for all their gaming needs, but I only have the wii, and I don't mind missing out on other hardcore games that are out for the 360 because I know I'm better off with the wii. I've always been a supporter of nintendo, and don't see anything wrong with the way things are now, so I will continue to support them.

My opinion is that Nintendo has totally forsaken the idea that started the whole console video gaming era.

Make games that are fun and then your consumers will want to come back and buy more.

However, in trying to keep innovating the field they created, they got a little overzealous and bit off more than they could chew, forsaking the total reason they began making games in the first place.

I'll support the Wii's core games--Zelda, Metroid, Mario and the likes--but I won't so much as touch a novelty game.

And, instead of buying a whole new console (I figure the current gen consoles have about a 2 year span left before the next generation starts getting phazed in), I've decided to just save money for the new console, and believe me, I'll do my research before I buy the next one.

I would love to see Nintendo stop console post-Wii and devote themselves to the handheld market, because the DS is the best handheld on the market. Nintendo got it right with that one.

I don't mind waiting for the good games as there usually better when you give them more time to produce them... Look at brawl, if you didnt rush it we might have had 7 more character's... Better online, and probably more music. but pikmin -_-, nobody wants to hear that... It woulda been better to keep that a surprise, WHERES MY STARFOX GAME?! :/

Honestly, almost regret getting my Wii... It's not played a whole lot (except when I have 3 of my friends over, which is rare) and the games for it are all gimmicks, and not fun gimmicks either. I'd really rather have a 360...

Wii is good to an extent.
It's a great party console but when your by yourself, it's quite boring.
360's are the best for solo play.
