Iwata: I worried about being fired
Satoru Iwata has said he was unsure whether he'd be fired before Nintendo's campaign to expand the gaming market was successful.
"In my first year as president my ideas met scepticism, also within the company," he said to German website Spiegel online. "I was lucky that it worked so quickly. For a long time it wasn't certain what would happen first: That we'd have success with the new console, or that I was fired." Despite his hesitations, Iwata never doubted that his commitment to expanding the market. "I believed always in the fact that more people would play video games, if the hurdle between them and play became lower than it were and often today still is." Job for life. intersting article, thanks D.I.O, although i sorta wish myimotto was the prez. i like him so much more than iwiata. im sorta confused what dose iawata really do? dose he make games?

Wow that's interesting I never really thought Nintendo had thoughts about firing him. But isn't Iwata the President of the Company how would he get fired? Maybe I need to read up more.

Sorry Iwata, but I hope your fired. You obviously forget about hardcore audience, and rather have everybody playing Wii Music. You say you didnt forget about us after E3. But NOT EVEN A HINT at core games? No Starfox, Zelda, Metroid?

wait da ill one, 1 question. i thought the companys bought atleast 51% of there stocks so that the share holders couldnt buy them out
 so if only 49% of the company wanted him out wouldnt his 51 trumph that 49? sorry aron i know i sorta put you in the spot. i elect you as our new economics teacher
