Now thats just silly... Pirating is copying/trading copy righted material... "Hacking" or better defined as "modding" (as we are talking in this subject) is the altering of hardware that one has already obtained legally and by all rights can do with it whatever they see fit. Sure, it may void your warranty if you choose to install the homebrew channel, or add an extra LED light to your wii-mote, or do some other stupid thing like that. But it breaks no laws and is not pirating.
