WiiSpeak Problem

I like the idea of voice filtering and not wearing something on your head, but...

I would perfer a headset, just simply for the fact that my parents think everybody online is a frikin' child melester. Kinda like im not supposed to be on forums. Its not wrong, because you guys are great and are infact, not perverts. The second somebody swears there gonna getted peaved.

And there gonna be like "NO YOU CANT HAVE IT, PEOPLE WILL ASK FOR YOUR PHONE NUMBER, WHERE YOU LIVE AND <insert offensive curse word here> "

If I can get WiiSpeak, im moving my Wii somewhere more private at least. Bedroom or something.

Yep, that's a major drawback. A USB microphone would work, but it would run you around $20 extra if you wanted sound to come out of the TV instead of the headphones, and it STILL wouldn't filter voices out.

I think nintendo should have put like a mute setting on it like mute the player that keeps bothering u so u can shut him up

i think nintendo will have like a mute feature

if not modders will probalbly just make a headphones made for it

Yeah that's the one flaw about the wiispeak is that it's a Mic and it's not exactly private. The best option I think would be to have a mute button on it.

I already told you how to make headphones...

And like I said, it won't filter the TV noise from the voices.

my parents are the same way..... so idk if i'm going 2 buy da wiispeaker bc my wii is in the livingroom & i can't move it upstairs bc the wi-fi signal is weak up there. =/

Im not sure how you define impersonal, but my Wii and TV are right beside the big couch, the computer, and 37 inch Plasma, which is where everybody is on lazy days. I dont want everybody checking on me every 5 seconds, to see whats happening. I want to move my 19 inch TV and Wii somewhere better.

I think that it's really annoying how concerned parents get about personal info on the Internet. I mean, think about it, this is a worldwide network. Let's say that I'm talking to some guy in Britain, and OH MY GOD! He's a child molester! He's going to pay 500$ for the flight, get a hotel room, come to my house, rape me, go back to his house, and lure some other person in. Not to mention the fact that people who are getting this game (which, by the way, I'm still adamant is rated M) should know Internet safety by now; it's not like I'm going to be giving out my address, phone # and e-mail. Parents can be stupidly overprotective. BTW, nice sig Zakatak.
